Train The Trainer

So we started the Whidbey TTT in London on Monday.  Bucketfuls of new ASP features.  I’m not sure how popular all the declaritive features are going to be with the die-hard "Real men don’t use property pages" brigade, but it makes creating, say, data forms so much easier and quicker.  Even MCSE’s might be able to cobble together a web app.

I can see themes and skins filling a need in the marketplace.  With Web parts it makes me realise how these pages are made up.

The hotel they insisted I used ("it would be just too tiring to commute") is jam packed full of American teens.  Why is it every hotel I stay in of late is full of them?  Are they stalking me?  There was a forest of bodies and cases I had to negotiate at reception.

A pleasant meal with Tony and Phil followed in the Italian hotel restaurant (what are the odds that they both turned out ot be half Italian?).  This morning at breakfast there was a queue that went out of the restaurant door.  Bloody American kids!  Why can’t they stay in bed till noon like normal teens?

About snodlander
Snodlander is the nom de plume of Bob Simms. He is an IT trainer, but it's not as glamourous as it sounds. When he's not enthralling classes with adventures through SQL Server, he writes, draws and drinks his own home-brew. Buy his novel on Amazon Kindle at The Young Demon Keeper, It's 74p, for crying out loud!
