Virtual Server

Yukon (SQL 2005) is OK.  The Beta is quite stable.  But poor Graham spent most of yesterday trying to fix all the virtual server problems in the class, as one by one people’s VMs died.  Half the class has thrown the VM away and has installed Yukon on the host.  Good job I won’t be training this in this format, at least for the time being.  How can a fully released product be less stable than a beta?  Strange.

About snodlander
Snodlander is the nom de plume of Bob Simms. He is an IT trainer, but it's not as glamourous as it sounds. When he's not enthralling classes with adventures through SQL Server, he writes, draws and drinks his own home-brew. Buy his novel on Amazon Kindle at The Young Demon Keeper, It's 74p, for crying out loud!
