Froze Toes

On Monday I biked from home to Maidenhead.  It was an opportunity to test out my new electric gloves.  By the time I was in London my fingers and toes were cold.  By the time I arrived in Maidenhead I was in pain.  I could hardly walk and my fingernails felt as though they were peeling off.
Lunchtime I checked the wiring harness.  The gloves need a 3 amp fuse in the circuit.  The only 3 amp circuit is for the clock.  Oddly, the clock keeps resetting to 01:00.  I check the fuse.  Well, the remains of the fuse, anyway.  Down to Halfords.  Re-wire the harness to have its own circuit and fuse.  Oh My Gosh, what a difference when the gloves are wired up correctly.  Now all I need is a set of electric socks…

About snodlander
Snodlander is the nom de plume of Bob Simms. He is an IT trainer, but it's not as glamourous as it sounds. When he's not enthralling classes with adventures through SQL Server, he writes, draws and drinks his own home-brew.
