Free demons, day 1

The world loves a bargain.  Just twenty-four hours after The Young Demon Keeper went free 540 people have downloaded it, including a sole German reader.  I have been genuinely moved by the number of people that have reposted the link, even a couple I have never met in the flesh.  And real sales have picked up as well.  Not earth-shattering, but five sales of my other books in a day is not bad.  I’ll live with that.  What really excites me is that in the UK I am now ranked at #486 in Kindle sales, and #802 in the US.  Who’da thunk it?  No extra reviews yet, which is what I’m really after, but it’s early days.

But what this might really be saying is, free is the market price of my writing.  I’m not giving up the day job just yet.

About snodlander
Snodlander is the nom de plume of Bob Simms. He is an IT trainer, but it's not as glamourous as it sounds. When he's not enthralling classes with adventures through SQL Server, he writes, draws and drinks his own home-brew. Buy his novel on Amazon Kindle at The Young Demon Keeper, It's 74p, for crying out loud!

      Star,

No, thank you for taking the trouble of seeking me out. Comments like this are why I write (plus the sex and money of course). If you were to leave a review on Amazon I’d be double chuffed.
